Bay-O-Net Fuse Holder for Oil-Filled Transformers, 8.3kV to 38kV
DENCO's Bay-O-Net fuse holder mounts through the wall of an oil transformer tank and lets the fuse be changed quickly without oil leakage. It is rated 8.3kV (160A), 15.5kV (150A), 23kV (80A) and 38kV (60A), with single-phase interruption ratings from 3500A down to 800A. Installation needs no special tools.

The holder has a PDT structure, silver-plated copper contact terminals, an internal fiberglass snap-on rod and rubber seals. It is installed on the wall of the oil tank, and the nut and sealing rubber needed for installation come with the set. The dimension drawing shows the sealing rubber, sealing hatch, fixing nut and tank wall, with recommended and minimum oil levels marked.
Holder dimensions A, B and C are printed for the 23kV and 38kV versions: 178, 82 and 237 at 23kV, and 193, 107 and 258 at 38kV. Five components can be bought separately: the fuse holder body (5994-1-23 or 5994-1-38), the nut and sealing rubber set (5994-2), the fuse-link replacement screw (5994-3), the fuse-link capsule (5994-4-23 or 5994-4-38) and the fuse-link fixing rod (5994-5). The body and capsule differ in size between 23kV and 38kV.
