DIN 43620 NH Knife-Blade Semiconductor Fuses, aR and gR
DENCO DIN 43620 semiconductor fuses are NH knife-blade fuse-links in utilization classes aR and gR, with a red pin trip indicator. The catalog lists three voltage classes: 500V/660V and 690V/800V from 10A to 2000A in sizes NH000 to NH5, and 1000V/1300V from 10A to 2000A in sizes NH00 to NH5.

The 500V/660V series (pp.101 to 104) is current limiting with a high interrupting rating, low watts loss and a silver element. Page 102 gives pre-arcing time-current curves for aR fuse-links, sizes 000 to 5. Page 103 prints the time-current curve for category gR at 500V and page 104 the curve for category aR at 690V, which marks a prohibited operation area. Each page adds peak let-through curves and a dimension table (a1, a2, a3, b, c1, d, e1, e2, e4). Both pages note that gB is the designation for mining applications.
Peak let-through curves are drawn against the available symmetrical RMS fault current, with reference lines for asymmetric current (2.5 x Ieff) and symmetrical current (√2 x Ieff). Pages 112 and 122 carry the same DIN 43620, IEC 269.1 and 4 aR/gR heading for the 690V/800V and 1000V/1300V ratings, with the same red pin indicator and silver element; page 112 lists catalog numbers D2128, D3261, D4378, D6378 and D7378.
