DIN 43653 German Standard Semiconductor Fuses, 690V/800V and 1000V/1300V

DENCO DIN 43653 fuses are German-standard ultra-rapid semiconductor fuses in classes aR and gR. The catalog lists 690V/800V fuses from 10A to 400A in sizes NH000 to NH00 and from 40A to 1600A in sizes NH1 to NH3 (blade types DIN 80 and 110), and 1000V/1300V fuses from 40A to 1600A in NH1 to NH3 (blade type DIN 110).

The smaller 690V/800V fuses on pages 105 and 106 are current limiting with a high interrupting rating, low watts loss, a silver element and, per page 105, solid sand filling. They come in three versions: without indicator, with a visual indicator (a red pin), or with indicator pin type "P" for a microswitch; page 105 also shows a microswitch clamp. Catalog numbers are D1878, D1988, D3178, D3228 and D1928 (p.105) and D3278 and D3328 (p.106).

Pages 108 to 111 cover further 690V/800V DIN 43653 fuses with a red pin visual indicator or indicator type "F" for a microswitch base, and pages 123 and 124 the 1000V/1300V fuses with the same indicator options. Technical data pages give pre-arcing time-current curves by size: 000, 1*, 1, 2 and 3 at 690V/800V (pp.117 to 121) and 1*, 2 and 3 at 1000V/1300V (pp.128 to 131).
